On Wednesday November 22nd members of Amal’s Board of directors traveled to Glasgow and Edinburgh to visit a number of Muslim and Migrant led women’s services.
A huge thank you to Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Center, Saheliya and Shakti Women’s Aid for their time and guidance. Meeting women who have taken our journey before and set up specialist and culturally specific projects was invaluable. Learning from their success and mistakes we were honored to have had time with phenomenally strong women committed to women’s rights.
